A solar racer, a solar plane, a desk fan and a wind-powered car in one box. Motors arrive with their leads already soldered, so nothing needs heat or glue.

On the bench with this kit

Each of the four models comes in its own bag, which keeps the table calm when more than one child is building. The solar car and the solar plane run straight from their panels in bright light; the fan and the wind car show the other side of the story with a battery and a motor turning a propeller.

Because every connector is already soldered, the build becomes a lesson in cause and effect rather than in tools. Turn the panel away from the window and the plane slows; turn it back and the propeller spins up again.
