When a part goes missing
Most hiccups at the build table have a quick fix. Try the table below first; if something really is missing or broken, here is how to sort it out.

| Speaker is silent | A driver plug is loose or batteries are reversed | Reseat both driver plugs and check the + marks in the battery box |
| Radio finds no stations | Antenna down or weak signal indoors | Extend the antenna fully and move near a window |
| Solar car will not move | Not enough direct sunlight | Take it outside in full sun and tilt the panel toward it |
| Wheels feel stiff | Gear pressed too tightly against the motor | Ease the gear back a fraction so it meshes lightly |
| A piece has snapped | Tab forced along the grain | Write to us with the kit name and a photo of the piece |
